The company provided a long-term core team of specialists in agro-economics, feed milling, pig and poultry production supported by short term experts in marketing, legal issues and auditing. Seventeen state owned pig and poultry production complexes and two feed milling enterprises were selected for restructuring (representing approx 10% of the existing units in the sector). The project developed restructuring (privatisation) plans and company valuations for each enterprise, dealt with the primary legal issues that were identified and managed a preliminary identification of potential foreign and local investors for the restructured enterprises.(In association with ALC)
