The assignment concerned the ex-ante, on-going and ex-post evaluation of Leader II (264 mECU budget), as implemented by the Local Action Groups (LAGs) in Greece, according to the strategy targets and assumptions set at the planning phase of the National Programme for Regional Development. The evaluation analysis was followed by realistic proposals and suggestions for improving the Initiative’s effectiveness. Records on the implementation of the actions were maintained and a system of quantitative targets and financial indicators was formulated. This system will eventually become the Evaluation Basis of the Leader II Initiative in Greece. (In association with SPEED S.A.)
