Location in Athens

The Vakakis International office (Laodikias Street) is approximately 3 km East North East of the city centre, and close to the Athens Concert Hall (Metro Station "Megaro Moussikis"), and the American Embassy.

Using the Metro :

The fastest way to get around Athens is by metro, which is very new and still being extended. The metro system is fast, modern, comfortable and clean and presently costs 0,80 Euros per ticket (journey), i.e. valid for 90' once you exit the system. Ticket booths can be found at the (surface) entrance to the larger stations and (underground) on the main concourse of every station. There are no physical ticket barriers and you are required to self-cancel your ticket using the machines in the entrance hall, before entering the system. Some of the larger stations have fascinating displays of the archaeological discoveries of ancient Athens, made during excavation of the system. You can find a map of the Attica Metro System here.

Road :

Arriving by car is not an easy option, given the limited parking space. Vakakis International office is right next to the Alexandra Hospital (Michalakopoulou Ave.).Parking on the street is very difficult although there is a multi-story car park very close to the office.
